Details: For comparison, Vazhnye Istorii based its estimate on the scale of the damage and the aftermath of a fire at a Wildberries warehouse in Shushary in 2024. The company has yet to provide an official damage assessment.

In 2024, a warehouse complex covering 105,800 sq m burned down in Shushary. Insurance market representatives estimated the direct losses at more than RUB 10 billion (US$127 million).

Wildberries paid RUB 34.9 billion (US$445 million) in compensation to businesses selling on its platform whose goods were destroyed. The company said in April 2025 that it had settled 99.6% of compensation claims. At least 5,000 sellers lost goods worth more than RUB 1 million (US$12,700) each, although some said they were dissatisfied with the payouts offered.

The logistics complex in Elektrostal, Moscow Oblast, was more than twice the size of the warehouse in Shushary. The full extent of the losses at the facility in Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, which covers about 108,000 sq m, has yet to be determined.

A source close to Wildberries told Russian business news outlet The Bell that around 10-15% of the company's total warehouse space has been affected by the attacks. The source believes the marketplace's operations will not be completely paralysed.
