Woman injured in Russian strike on Nikopol, number injured rises in Pavlohrad

An 81-year-old woman has been injured in a Russian strike on Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The number of people injured in Pavlohrad has risen to 16, and two people have been killed.

Quote: "Two people have been killed and 17 others have been injured, including children. The enemy has attacked four districts nearly 40 times using drones, artillery and guided aerial bombs.

Two people were killed in an enemy strike on Pavlohrad in the morning. Sixteen people were injured. Three remain in hospital in a moderate condition. The others, including children aged one and 13, will receive outpatient treatment."

Details: In the Nikopol district, Russian forces attacked the city of Nikopol and the Pokrovske, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets hromadas. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Infrastructure, a sports school, a café, an apartment building and a car were damaged. An 81-year-old woman was injured and will receive outpatient treatment.

Damage was also reported in the Synelnykove and Kryvyi Rih districts.

Background: Earlier, it was reported that two people had been killed and 15 others, including children, injured after a Russian guided aerial bomb struck an apartment building in Pavlohrad on 20 July.
