Ukrainian air defences down three missiles and over 200 drones overnight, Iskander strike confirmed

Ukrainian air defence has downed over 200 Russian drones and three air-launched missiles since the evening of 21 July. Meanwhile, strikes by an Iskander ballistic missile and several attack UAVs have been recorded.

Early reports indicated that as of 08:30, [Ukrainian] air defence forces had destroyed or jammed all three Kh-59/69 air-launched missiles and 204 Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas [UAVs] and drones of other types in the country's north, south, centre and east."

Details: Hits by an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 12 UAVs have been recorded at 12 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at seven locations.

Background: Five people, including children, were injured in a Russian attack on a residential building in the village of Chaiky, near Kyiv, on the morning of 22 July.
