Russian guided bomb strike on food business in Pavlohrad leaves three dead, 19 injured

Russian forces struck a food industry business in Pavlohrad with a guided aerial bomb on 23 July, killing three people and injuring a further 19.

Details: The oblast military administration initially reported three killed and 10 injured. The prosecutor's office later confirmed that 13 people were injured.

Hanzha later said the number of injured has risen to 19. Among them is a two-year-old girl. They are currently in hospital.

The investigation reported that Russian forces struck Pavlohrad with a guided aerial bomb at around 11:20. A civilian food industry business was hit.

The full extent of the damage from the attack is still being assessed.

Law enforcement officers have instituted criminal proceedings under Article 438 of Ukraine's Criminal Code, concerning violations of the laws and customs of war. Prosecutors are documenting the aftermath of the strike.

Background: On 20 July, the Russians struck Pavlohrad with a guided aerial bomb for the first time. They hit an apartment building, killing two people and injuring 15 more, including children.
