Battlefield sees 233 clashes over 23 July – Ukraine's General Staff
A total of 233 combat clashes occurred on the battlefield on 23 July.

Details: The General Staff reported that the Russians had launched a missile attack using three missiles and 93 airstrikes dropping 308 guided aerial bombs on Thursday 23 July. In addition, Russian troops used 10,463 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,230 strikes on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 25 from multiple-launch rocket systems.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine's Air Force and Rocket Forces and Artillery units hit 16 clusters of Russian military personnel, five artillery systems, a UAV ground control station and a logistics depot.
On the Pokrovsk front, Russian forces launched the highest number of offensive actions over the past day. Ukraine's defence forces stopped 36 Russian assaults near the settlements of Novooleksandrivka and Rodynske and towards Dorozhnie, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka, Hannivka, Shevchenko, Nykanorivka, Novyi Donbas, Hryshyne, Myrne and Udachne.
On the Huliaipole front, the Russians conducted 12 attacks towards the settlements of Olenokostiantynivka, Kosivtseve, Zaliznychne, Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Dobropillia, Tsvitkove and Staroukrainka.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, the Russians conducted an assault operation. They also launched three airstrikes, dropping nine guided bombs, and conducted 85 strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 Russian attacks. The Russians tried to advance near the settlements of Vovchansk, Vilcha, Starytsia and Lyman and towards Khatnie.
On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces did not carry out any offensive operations.
On the Lyman front, the Russians attempted to breach the Ukrainian defences 15 times near the settlements of Lyman, Stavky and Ozerne and towards Novoselivka.
On the Sloviansk front, the Russians conducted 19 assaults near the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakitne and Riznykivka and towards Pyskunivka, Mykolaivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians conducted four attacks towards the settlements of Yurkivka, Pryvilne, Nykyforivka and Markove.
On the Kostiantynivka front, 16 Russian attacks took place near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia and Illinivka and towards Mykolaipillia.
On the Oleksandrivka front, Russian forces conducted six attacks towards the settlements of Piddubne, Novoheorhiivka, Oleksandrohrad, Kalynivske and Rybne.
On the Huliaipole front, the Russians conducted 13 attacks towards the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Dobropillia, Staroukrainka, Hirke, Tsvitkove and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv front, Ukrainian troops repelled three Russian attempts to advance near the settlements of Shcherbaky, Stepove and Prymorske.
On the Prydniprovske front, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there were no signs of Russian offensive groups being formed in the area.
