Russians attack energy infrastructure in five Ukrainian oblasts

As of this morning, new power outages have been reported in five oblasts as a result of the latest major Russian attack.

Details: The affected oblasts are Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia.

"Emergency repair work is underway wherever security conditions allow. Energy workers are doing everything possible to bring power back to all consumers as quickly as possible," Ukrenergo said.

Energy workers are asking consumers to shift active electricity use to between 11:00 and 15:00.

Previously: Approximately 7,000 consumers in the Novhorod-Siverskyi district in Chernihiv Oblast remain without power following a Russian hit on an energy facility.
