Russia attacks with 110 air assets: Ukraine downs 5 out of 7 ballistic missiles, 1 Kh-59/69 and over 100 drones

Russian forces attacked Ukraine on the night of 25-26 July with a Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missile, seven Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles and 136 strike UAVs including Shahed types, jet-powered ones, Gerbera, Italmas and Parodiya decoy drones.

Details: Early reports indicate that as of 08:30, air defence forces shot down and jammed one Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missile, five Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles and 104 UAVs including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types in the north, south and east of the country.

The Air Force also reported that hits from two ballistic missiles and 27 strike UAVs were recorded at 18 locations, while debris from downed targets fell at seven locations.

The aerial attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defence forces.

The attack is ongoing, with Russian UAVs still in the airspace.
