Russia hits energy infrastructure in four oblasts

Russia's large-scale attack on the night of 26-27 July has caused fresh power outages in four Ukrainian oblasts as of the morning of 27 July.

Details: The affected regions are Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts.
Quote: "Emergency repair work is already under way wherever the security situation allows. Energy workers are doing everything they can to restore the enemy-damaged equipment as quickly as possible."
Details: The company urged consumers to shift their peak electricity use to the period between 10:00 and 16:00.
Background: Last week, Ukrainian regions received energy equipment worth nearly €2.5 million from Lithuania, Australia, Sweden and the UK.
