Polish government confirms it is expecting visit by Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will arrive in Lublin on 29 July, the Polish government has announced.

Details: In Lublin, Zelenskyy is set to meet Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

"The subject of the talks will be summing up the results of his [Zelenskyy's – ed.] visit to the United States and his meeting with President Donald Trump," the Polish government's press service said.

Background:

This will be the Ukrainian president's first visit to Poland since the conflict between Kyiv and Warsaw that erupted over Zelenskyy's decision to grant a Ukrainian military unit the honorary designation "named after the Heroes of the UPA".
Because of this decision, he was stripped of Poland's highest award. It was also reported that at the height of the conflict, Zelenskyy's plane stopped flying over Poland.
Against this backdrop, incidents of aggression against Ukrainians in Poland have also become more frequent.
