Ukrainian forces strike Russian naval drone base, tankers and Shahed-type UAV launch site

Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) have struck a base of Russian naval unmanned surface vessels (USV) in temporarily occupied Crimea, four tankers in the Black and Azov Seas, five air defence assets, and a launch site for Shahed-type loitering munition at Donetsk airport.

Details: Brovdi did not specify the date of the strikes.

Brovdi said that USF units have struck 30 Russian air defence assets over the course of July.

He also reported that the total number of tankers struck has reached 205 – 130 in the Sea of Azov and 75 in the Black Sea – since the start of Operation MoLoChKa, a Ukrainian campaign targeting Russian logistics and energy infrastructure in and around occupied Crimea.

Brovdi said the Kairos unit – the 9th Battalion – from the 414th Separate Brigade, also known as Magyar's Birds, struck a Russian naval USV base in the settlement of Snizhne in temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as radio-transparent shelters housing radars in Okhotniche.

The Nemesis unit – the 412th Separate USF Battalion – struck a P-18 radar near Ivanivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

The USF's Phoenix grouping within Ukraine's State Border Guard Service struck a Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system that was on a trawl near Snizhne in Donetsk Oblast and a storage and launch site for attack drones at Donetsk airport.

The 9th Battalion also struck a Nebo-SVU radar near the settlement of Ruski Kolodets and a Sopka-2 radar station near Fedorivka in Russia's Rostov Oblast.

Background: Brovdi reported earlier that the USF had struck 13 Russian vessels in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov over a 48-hour period.
