Three injured after Russian drone strikes petrol station in Zaporizhzhia

A Russian drone struck a petrol station in Zaporizhzhia on the night of 2-3 August, injuring three people.

Quote: "Three people were injured as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia. A Russian drone struck one of the petrol stations in the city. Civilian women who were nearby were injured by the blast. Medics are providing them with all necessary assistance."

Details: Fedorov also said that more than 45,000 consumers were left without power after the attack.

The Russian drone damaged a power transmission line. Electricity was restored to some consumers within the first half hour after the strike, but around 23,000 customers remained without power.

Background:

Since the beginning of the summer, Russian forces have intensified drone attacks on petrol stations in several Ukrainian regions, including Zaporizhzhia.
In July alone, several petrol stations in the city came under attack.
On 29 July, a strike on a petrol station in Zaporizhzhia injured one person.
On 9 July, another attack on a petrol station killed one person and injured three others.
On 6 July, a Russian drone attack on a petrol station in Zaporizhzhia killed two people and injured nine others, including one child.
Overall, since April, Russia has been carrying out sustained and targeted attacks on petrol stations across various regions of Ukraine.
