They missed the last train: eight people killed at railway station in Brovary district

Eight people were killed at the Kvitneva railway station as a result of a Russian missile attack on the Brovary district in Kyiv Oblast on the night of 4-5 August.

Quote: "I'm currently at the Kvitneva station, where, sadly, we have the most fatalities and injuries. Last night the train was slightly delayed, and people missed their last train. Eight people are currently known to have been killed."

Details: Bihun also said that logistics companies have been affected at five locations, and residential buildings have been damaged.

Background: The state-run railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) earlier reported that following a massive Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast, bodies were found on a railway platform near logistics centres. Train services in the Brovary district have not yet resumed.
