Ukraine hits Russian UAV control stations, command post, river crossing and supply depot

Ukraine's defence forces struck Russian military command posts, a river crossing used for military logistics and a supply depot in occupied Crimea on the night of 4-5 August and over the course of the previous day.

Details: The General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces have struck Russian drone control stations near the settlements of Mali Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Kostiantynivka, Chasiv Yar and Zelene Pole in Donetsk Oblast and Volfinskе in Russia's Kursk Oblast.

In addition, Ukraine struck a Russian military command post near Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast.

Ukrainian forces also struck a crossing over the Mokri Yaly river near the village of Vesele in Donetsk Oblast, which Russian forces had been using to transfer personnel, weapons and logistical resources.

The General Staff separately reported a strike on a Russian supply depot in Ishun in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Background: On the night of 3-4 August, Ukraine's defence forces carried out strikes on a number of military assets belonging to the Russian occupying forces, including a temporary deployment site for a Federal Security Service (FSB) unit in Kherson Oblast, a road bridge and a railway bridge, as well as a command post and a communications hub in Bakhmut.
