Source: Bishop Nikodym, administrator of the Kherson Eparchy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine
Details: The Bishop said the church was destroyed on 5 August, the eve of the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord.
Quote from the bishop: "Russian forces have destroyed the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Dariivka in the Kherson district. This newly built church near the road to Beryslav was constructed by the village community using their own resources in memory of fallen soldiers from Dariivka who were defenders of Ukraine."

As Nikodym noted, the building of the church was funded by the local community and it was built through their efforts.
The photographs posted by the bishop show that the church building has been almost completely destroyed. There are currently no reports of casualties as a result of the strike.
