Russian attack destroys logistics warehouse of fashion retailer Intertop Ukraine

The Denka Logistics warehouse, where Intertop Ukraine products were being stored, has been completely destroyed as a result of last night's large-scale Russian attack.

Quote from Intertop: "Last night, as a result of the latest Russian attack, the main logistics warehouse storing Intertop Ukraine goods was completely destroyed – the high-tech Denka Logistics complex, which served as the main logistics hub of the MTI Group for many years."

Details: None of Intertop Ukraine's employees was killed or injured, but the scale of destruction is described as enormous.

In a statement, Intertop Ukraine said: "In a matter of minutes, one of the company's key logistics facilities, which had been operating continuously since 2009, was destroyed. Tens of thousands of orders were dispatched daily from here to customers across Ukraine."

Along with the warehouse, a significant portion of inventory, logistics infrastructure and equipment has been lost.

The company is currently assessing the damage and reorganising operations to minimise disruption for customers.

"Delivery times may be slightly longer for some orders, but we are doing everything possible to keep delays to a minimum," the company noted.

Intertop Ukraine added that all orders that have been paid for but had not yet been delivered will be processed. Customers will receive full refunds for any orders that could not be completed.

Background:

• The large-scale Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of 4-5 August damaged the main logistics centre of Novus and two distribution centres of Silpo, two of the largest supermarket chains in Ukraine. Six company employees were killed.
• A sorting hub in Kyiv belonging to Nova Poshta (Nova Post), Ukraine's largest private delivery company, was destroyed in the massive Russian attack. Three people were killed and eight injured in the strike.
• The same night, a distribution warehouse complex in Brovary belonging to Rozetka, one of Ukraine's largest retailers and online marketplaces, was destroyed in a strike by three ballistic missiles.
• A Russian strike also destroyed the central warehouse of Liqui Moly Ukraine, a supplier of motor oils.
