Quote: "I have signed an order introducing the mandatory evacuation of children from certain areas of the Kramatorsk hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

This concerns 525 children from 424 families:

  • the settlement of Krasnotorka – 59 children from 46 families
  • the settlement of Bilenke – 140 children from 104 families
  • Kramatorsk – 326 children from 274 families.

In Kramatorsk, the evacuation applies to children living in the most dangerous areas."

Details: Filashkin stressed that the children will be evacuated together with their parents or other legal guardians.

He also posted the full list of addresses in Kramatorsk from which children are to be evacuated.

"This is a difficult but necessary decision. The security situation is deteriorating, so leaving children under the constant threat of Russian strikes is unacceptable. I urge parents not to delay and to cooperate with the evacuation teams," Filashkin said.

Background: In June, the mandatory evacuation of families with children began in parts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
