Russian attacks on energy facilities on 5 August left 126,000 households in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast without electricity.

Details: Power cuts affected the towns of Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrov and nearby settlements.
Power engineers began restoring electricity supplies as soon as the security situation allowed. The company said the damage was extensive and warned that repairs will require time.
Background: Some consumers in six oblasts of Ukraine were temporarily without electricity as of the morning of 5 August due to combat operations and Russian strikes on energy facilities.
