Russia’s Belgorod comes under drone attack as explosions and fires reported

The Russian city of Belgorod came under a drone attack on the night of 8-9 August, with a series of explosions reported across the city.

Details: According to monitoring channels, local residents reported that several drones attacked central Belgorod. Several fires were reported in the city, with smoke visible in the area.

Witnesses claimed that dozens of drones were flying over the city. Blocks of flats in Belgorod were also reportedly damaged and caught fire.

Witnesses have posted footage showing what appears to be a large-scale drone attack.
