Details: The official noted that following the conclusions drawn from the Lublin region incident on 30 July, when a Russian Kh-101 missile flew deep into Polish territory, Poles will begin to be notified of similar potential threats.
She said the new measures stipulate that if Poland scrambles fighter jets in response to a large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine, citizens will also be notified of this via SMS.
Polish investigators have confirmed that a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile, manufactured in the second quarter of 2026 at a factory in Moscow Oblast, crashed in the Lublin Voivodeship on 30 July.
A survey showed that almost 38% of Poles are dissatisfied with the response of Polish authorities to the incident.
