Russian attack on Kyiv: missiles fall on children's hospital grounds

Russian forces once again attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles on the night of 10-11 August. One impact occurred on the grounds of a children's hospital in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv.

Details: Two craters formed at the impact site. The attack damaged the building's glazing, a dormitory, warehouse premises and a gas pipe.

Gas service workers contained the gas leak that occurred as a result of the strike.
Children and medical staff were not injured, as they were in shelters during the attack.
Background:
- Russian forces attacked Ukraine with anti-ship and ballistic missiles, as well as 120 drones of various types, on the night of 10-11 August. The main directions of the Russian strike were Kyiv Oblast and Zaporizhzhia.
- Russian forces previously attacked a hospital in Kherson, injuring four female staff members.
