Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia: Epicentr shopping centre catches fire, over 1,000 left without power – photos, video

A Russian attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia on the night of 11-12 August sparked a fire at a shopping centre belonging to Epicentr, a chain of home improvement superstores, and left around 1,200 consumers without electricity.

Details: Fedorov initially reported explosions in Zaporizhzhia.

He later said that a house had been damaged in the attack.

Fedorov subsequently reported damage to a shopping centre and a fire.

Quote: "A shopping centre was damaged in a Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia. A fire broke out."

Details: Fedorov also said that the attack had left around 1,200 consumers without electricity in one of Zaporizhzhia's districts.

In a video posted later by Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, it can be seen that the Russian strike hit an Epicentr shopping centre, which subsequently caught fire on a large scale.
