Russian forces struck the Zaporizhzhia district on the evening of 13 August, injuring a 25-year-old woman and a five-year-old child.

Details: Fedorov said the strike had hit the road directly next to a car, damaging the vehicle.

Background:

  • On 13 August, Russian forces attacked an industrial facility in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
  • On 11 August, the Zaporizhstal (Zaporizhzhia Steel Works), one of the leading companies in the metallurgical industry in Ukraine, completely halted operations following a Russian ballistic missile strike. Seven employees of the plant were killed and another 21 people were injured.
