New launchers for Geran jet-powered drones deployed at Russia's Tsimbulova drone base
New launchers for Russia's Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet-powered UAVs have been deployed at the Tsimbulova drone base in Russia's Oryol Oblast.

Details: Back on 10 July, the channel's admins noticed active construction work at the drone base. Thus, the installation of the launchers was completed in approximately one month.
According to Strategic Aviation, 10 launchers are intended for Geran-5 UAVs, while another six are for Geran-4s. In addition, the drone base has four launchers for Geran-3 UAVs and three for Geran-2s.
Analysts also counted 37 Geran-5 jet-powered UAVs, eight Geran-4s and 56 Geran-2 attack drones in the open area of the drone base.
"The Russians have begun using solar panels at the drone base to provide additional power for communications equipment, weather stations and UAV guidance systems, helping protect the base from the effects of possible power outages," the report also said.
The Telegram channel added that construction at the drone base is continuing. Smaller storage facilities for Shahed drones have begun to be built in its western section, while construction of larger storage buildings is also underway.
Background: Earlier, Strategic Aviation reported on the expansion of infrastructure at the Tsimbulova drone base. In particular, in May it reported plans to deploy ten launchers for Geran-5 UAVs there.
