Russian forces attack Izium with guided aerial bombs: four people injured

Four people have been injured in a Russian guided aerial bomb strike on the city of Izium in Kharkiv Oblast on the evening of 16 August.

Quote: "Russian forces struck the city of Izium on 16 August, at approximately 21:38.
Early reports indicate that the enemy used two guided aerial bombs. Strikes were recorded near the city centre and in the north-western part."
Details: The attack damaged windows and roofs of several houses.
Four civilians are currently known to have been injured.
Background:
- Russian forces regularly terrorise settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, using guided aerial bombs against residential areas and civilian infrastructure.
- On 8 August, at least five people were injured in a Russian guided aerial bomb strike on a civilian facility in Izium. More than 10 cars as well as neighbouring houses and high-rise residential buildings were damaged.
- On 13 August, Russian forces also struck Izium with aerial bombs, injuring three civilians.
