Ninth air-raid warning in a day issued in Kyiv after drone debris lands in residential courtyard

An air-raid warning was issued in Kyiv for the ninth time on 18 August amid the threat of jet-powered drones. An explosion was heard in the city this evening, and the authorities reported that debris had landed in the courtyard of a residential building.

Quote from Klitschko: "In the Dniprovskyi district, debris from an enemy UAV has crashed in the courtyard of a five-storey apartment block. There is no fire.

More UAVs are heading towards the capital. Please stay in shelters."

Details: Earlier, after an explosion was reported, Kyiv City Military Administration said that air defence is responding.

This is the ninth air-raid warning to be issued in Kyiv since the start of 18 August.
