Man killed in Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast, one injured

A Russian missile attack on the Brovary district in Kyiv Oblast has killed one man and injured another.

Quote: "Sadly, a man was killed in the Brovary district as a result of the enemy attack."

Details: Tkachenko stated that another man had been injured and is receiving the necessary medical treatment in hospital.

He also said that an industrial facility had been damaged in the attack.

"All the appropriate services are working at the scene, dealing with the fire," he added.

Background:

• Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles on the night of 19-20 August, with explosions reported across the city. A residential building and a children's hospital were damaged and fires broke out.
• It was later reported that two women had been killed in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack, with others injured.
