S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope, the first major expansion for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, has finally been released.

Details: The expansion is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store, GOG and Steam. A major 2.0 update has also been released alongside it.

The expansion explores the long-running conflict between the Duty and Freedom factions, which takes the game's protagonist, Skif, to a new location – the Iron Forest – and also provides access to the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

As part of the story, Skif, together with Zulu from Duty and Mavka from Freedom, must uncover previously unseen secrets of the Zone amid growing tensions, travel along unexplored paths and face new dangers.
