Russia loses 1,240 soldiers over past day

Russia has lost 1,240 soldiers killed and wounded over the past day, bringing its total number of personnel losses to 1,475,270.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 22 August 2026 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 1,475,270 (+1,240) military personnel

• 25,176 (+6) armoured combat vehicles
• 48,382 (+64) artillery systems
• 2,054 (+2) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 1,584 (+3) air defence systems
• 439 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft
• 354 (+0) helicopters
• 2,344 (+11) ground robotic systems
• 474,641 (+1,792) operational-tactical UAVs
• 5,049 (+0) cruise missiles
• 35 (+0) ships/boats
• 2 (+0) submarines
• 137,804 (+435) vehicles and fuel tankers
• 4,565 (+6) special vehicles and other equipment.
