Details: According to Zelenskyy, Russia is aiming to reach a production rate of around 100 ballistic missiles a month, but has not yet achieved that level.

Quote: "I believe Russia could produce up to 1,300 ballistic missiles a year. Now they have 600-630. We have a fairly good understanding of the volume they're aiming for between now and the end of winter.

They could potentially reach around 100 ballistic missiles a month. But they don't have that yet."

Details: Zelenskyy said that the defence forces are working to reduce the capabilities of Russia's military industry, including striking military facilities linked to missile production.

He noted that Ukrainian air defence has become more effective at shooting down Russian cruise missiles thanks to combat aviation, IRIS-T and Hawk air defence systems, though countering ballistic missiles remains more difficult.

The president also said that Ukraine is carrying out specific operations aimed at disrupting preparations for massive Russian missile attacks.

Quote: "I think you've seen recently that at some point they were planning a strike but didn't carry it out.

That's not a coincidence. We're working to prevent them from being able to carry out massive missile attacks."

Details: Zelenskyy added that Ukraine's Armed Forces had struck a Russian Iskander missile system near the Ukrainian border. He did not give an exact date or location.
