Finland's president announces agreements between Finnish and Ukrainian weapons manufacturers

Finnish President Alexander Stubb is visiting Kyiv together with representatives of Finnish defence companies, which have signed cooperation agreements with their Ukrainian counterparts.

Details: The Finnish president, who arrived in Kyiv on the morning of 23 August, announced that representatives of Finnish weapons manufacturers, including Insta, Boomeranger and Patria, have travelled with him to the Ukrainian capital.
As noted by Stubb, these companies have signed cooperation documents with their Ukrainian partners.
"In addition to these three companies, Finland is represented by leading companies in critical technologies: Nokia, ICEYE, Sensofusion and NestAI.
Thank you to our companies for showing the way and for their courage. In collaboration, both Finland and Ukraine win," the Finnish president stressed.
Patria announced that it has signed a memorandum of intent with Ukrainian drone manufacturer Center of Unmanned Technologies LLC, also known as General Cherry. As part of the cooperation, Patria plans to begin drone production in Finland.
Finnish company Innokas previously signed a letter of intent with Ukrainian drone manufacturer Airlogix to establish drone production facilities in Finland.
In July, British defence company BAE Systems and a strategic defence partner in Ukraine signed a licence agreement for the local production of Light Gun artillery systems.
