Russians attack petrol stations in Chernihiv and Poltava oblasts

Russian forces have struck petrol stations in Chernihiv and Poltava oblasts, with one person reported injured.

Quote from the State Emergency Service: "Chernihiv Oblast: the Russians struck a petrol station in the Novhorod-Siverskyi district yesterday evening [23 August]. A fire broke out at the site. A 59-year-old petrol station worker was injured."

Details: The emergency services quickly extinguished the fire.

Russian forces also attacked a petrol station in the Poltava district with a drone. Diakivnych said that no one was injured.

Background: Since the beginning of summer, Russian forces have stepped up attacks on petrol stations in several oblasts. Petrol stations in Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts have been repeatedly targeted.
