Ukraine's defence forces carried out a second strike on the Kamensky Combine, a military plant in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in Russia's Rostov Oblast, on the night of 23-24 August, causing a fire at the plant.

The Kamensky Combine produces solid rocket fuel for ammunition used by the Uragan, Smerch and Tornado-S multiple-launch rocket systems, as well as for a range of missile systems and air-launched weapons.

Background: Ukraine's defence forces previously attacked the Kamensky Combine on the night of 15-16 August, destroying two workshops that produced explosives and propellants and damaging another four.
