Zelenskyy sums up Coalition of the Willing meeting in Kyiv: aid packages and air defence listed as priorities

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Kyiv will receive military and energy aid packages following a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Kyiv on 24 August.

Details: Zelenskyy said Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi has briefed Ukraine's partners on the country's financial needs.
The Ukrainian leader also said that French President Emmanuel Macron has proposed that efforts to counter Russia's shadow fleet be stepped up and that a separate meeting be held on the issue.
"Europe must have a seat at the negotiating table. In any case, I'll be honest: many of the leaders who spoke today are genuinely sceptical about whether Putin is willing to engage in any negotiations at this point," Zelenskyy added.
