Kyiv under drone attack: debris lands in two districts, lorry driver injured – photos

Debris from downed aerial assets has landed in the Holosiivskyi and Pecherskyi districts following a Russian drone attack on Kyiv. In the Holosiivskyi district, a car has been damaged and a lorry driver has been injured. In the Pecherskyi district, a fire has broken out in an open area.

Update: At 12:48, Klitschko reported that a Russian drone had crashed onto a road in the Holosiivskyi district, the central part of the capital. Early reports indicate that one person was injured.
He later said that drone debris had crashed on the roof of a two-storey non-residential building at a different location in the Holosiivskyi district, causing a fire. Emergency services are working at the scene.

This attack took place while an air-raid warning was in effect from 11:58 to 12:45.
In total, since the start of the day, an air-raid warning in Kyiv has been issued seven times as of 12:48.

Details: In the morning, during one of the Russian drone attacks, debris fell in the Holosiivskyi and Pecherskyi districts. In the Holosiivskyi district, a car was damaged and a lorry driver sustained injuries.
Klitschko clarified that the person injured in the Holosiivskyi district is a lorry driver. Medics treated him at the scene. The State Emergency Service reported that the man injured in the attack is 21.
An open-air fire broke out in the Pecherskyi district, covering an area of 20 sq m, which has since been extinguished.Petrov also told Ukrainska Pravda he cannot confirm reports of damage to a sports complex in the Pecherskyi district, which the Kyiv City State Administration had previously reported.
Quote from Petrov: "As of now, we have had a fire in an open area of 20 sq m in the Pecherskyi district. It's already been extinguished. [...] Early reports indicate there has been no damage."
Details: The Kyiv City State Administration reported earlier that debris from downed aerial assets had landed on a non-residential area and damaged a sports facility in the Pecherskyi district. Videos showing smoke around the Lobanovskyi Stadium were also circulating on social media.
According to the air-raid warnings map, an air-raid warning was issued in Kyiv at 09:54, with the all-clear given at 11:08 – lasting one hour and 14 minutes.
Background: Two educational institutions and a municipal medical facility have been damaged in Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi district and debris from downed aerial assets has landed between residential buildings in the Podilskyi district as a result of the latest Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital.
