Russia destroys warehouse containing books of Ukraine's leading children's literature publisher
Russia struck a warehouse containing books belonging to publisher A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA on the night of 27-28 August.

Quote: "We stayed quiet when the Russian filth destroyed our books and blew out the windows and doors of our main warehouse in various places on several occasions. But last night, they destroyed the warehouse that handled direct dispatch of our works."

Details: The publisher will face problems fulfilling orders in the near future. Malkovych did not disclose the extent of the losses, but noted the sum involved is large.
Background:
- On 28 August, a Russian drone struck a warehouse in Kyiv, where books belonging to the Readeat and Book.ua bookshops were stored, and destroyed print runs from Vivat and other publishers.
- Over two months, Russian strikes have destroyed around 33% of Ukraine's annual book output: 1.5 million copies in July and 10 million in August. Dozens of publishing houses and bookshops have been affected, along with hundreds of schools, since 9% of new textbooks were destroyed in the attacks.
