Russian attack destroys warehouse storing solar panels

A warehouse belonging to the energy company Yasno where equipment for solar power plants was being stored was destroyed in a Russian attack on 27 August.

Details: Most of the equipment was damaged, and the items that survived have already been moved to other warehouses. Yasno is currently assessing the damage.

No employees were injured.

Kovalenko said the company will continue to meet its commitments to customers regarding the quality and installation timelines of its solar power plants and energy storage systems.

"We won't run short of equipment, as we have all the necessary reserves," he stressed.

Background: Russian attacks have destroyed around 90% of modern storage facilities for goods in Ukraine, Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Taras Vysotskyi said.
