Russian attack destroys warehouse storing solar panels

A warehouse of energy company YASNO storing equipment for solar power plants was destroyed due to a Russian attack on 27 August.

Details: Most of the equipment was damaged, while the items that survived have already been moved to other warehouses. YASNO is currently assessing the damage.

No employees were injured.

Kovalenko said the company will continue to meet its commitments to customers regarding the quality and installation timelines of solar power plants and energy storage systems.

"We will not run short of equipment, as we have all the necessary reserves," he stressed.

Background: Russian attacks have destroyed around 90% of modern storage facilities for goods in Ukraine, Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Taras Vysotskyi said.
