Drones attack logistics warehouses belonging to OZON and DNS in Russia's Rostov Oblast

Drones attacked Russia's Rostov Oblast on the night of 28-29 August, hitting logistics warehouses belonging to OZON and DNS, as well as a shipbuilding facility.

Details: Explosions were heard during the night in Rostov-on-Don, Bataysk and Aksai in Rostov Oblast.

A large fire broke out at warehouses belonging to DNS, a retailer of electronics and household appliances, following the drone attack.

OZON officially confirmed that one of its logistics facilities in Rostov Oblast had also been hit.

"Early reports indicate that there were no casualties. A small fire broke out, but it was extinguished immediately," the company's press service said.

Monitoring channels noted that a shipbuilding plant in the Aksai area was also hit during the overnight attack, with a vessel catching fire.

Russian authorities reported a large-scale drone attack on the region. Local officials said falling debris caused fires in several areas of the oblast.

In addition, according to satellite data from NASA's FIRMS service, a fire broke out overnight at a military airfield in the village of Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.
