Two people injured in Kyiv in Russian attack, high-rise building catches fire – photo
A fire broke out in a nine-storey residential building in Kyiv's Sviatoshynskyi district following a Russian attack on the night of 28-29 August. Two people were injured in another house.

Details: According to the State Emergency Service, the fire broke out in an apartment on the eighth floor of the high-rise building. The blaze was quickly extinguished, preventing it from spreading to neighbouring flats.
The floor slabs between the apartment and the roof were also destroyed. According to first responders, there were no casualties in this building.
Separately, houses in the Sviatoshynskyi district were damaged. Kyiv City Military Administration reported that two people have been injured and received medical assistance at the scene.
As of the morning, the air raid in Kyiv was still ongoing, and air defence systems were in operation in the city.
