Ukraine's General Staff reports destruction of Russian Buk-M3 system, strikes on drone launch site

Ukraine's General Staff has confirmed the destruction of a Russian Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system in Russia's Bryansk Oblast. In addition, Ukraine's defence forces struck preparation and launch sites for attack drones in the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk and Crimea.

Details: Following analysis of additional data, the destruction of a Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system near the settlement of Klintsy, Bryansk Oblast, on 28 August, has been confirmed.
Ukraine's defence forces also struck storage, preparation and launch sites for Russian attack drones in the area of the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in Crimea on 28 August and on the night of 28-29 August.
In addition, a Russian electronic warfare system was struck in the area of Znamianka in Crimea.
Information on the extent of the damage caused is being gathered.
