Kyiv under daytime Russian drone attack: fire breaks out, medics called out

Kyiv is currently under a Russian drone attack. A fire has broken out in a non-residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district and medics have been called out to the Holosiivskyi district.

Details: Klitschko said a non-residential building is on fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district, and emergency services are working at the scene.

A medical team has been dispatched to the Holosiivskyi district. There are currently no reports of casualties.

An air-raid warning was in effect in Kyiv for an hour and a half after midday. The Air Force reported that jet-powered drones were heading towards the capital.

Update: Klitschko later added that the façade of a two-storey café building in the Holosiivskyi district was damaged when drone debris landed on it. There was no fire or casualties.
