Details: Ukrainian intelligence noted that the Bastion system can launch Zircon and Oniks missiles, which Russia uses to strike Ukraine.

DIU also said that Group 13 drone operators had destroyed or damaged two fuel tankers and a Russian command-and-staff vehicle on the peninsula during the operation.

The footage released by DIU shows target reconnaissance and strikes on the Bastion system, the command-and-staff vehicle and the fuel tankers.

Background:

  • On 16 August, the Ukrainian Navy struck launch positions and a deployment site of a Bastion coastal defence missile system in occupied Crimea.
  • In March, Ukraine's defence forces also struck Bastion systems in Crimea. DIU reported that one launcher and two Zircon missiles had been destroyed, while another Bastion system had been damaged.
