Ukrainian anti-corruption agency conducts special operation at Prosecutor General's Office, official detained – video, photos
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) are conducting investigative actions at the Prosecutor General's Office as part of a special operation to expose a criminal organisation.

Details: According to Ukrainska Pravda sources in business circles, NABU and SAPO have already detained Serhii Kropyva, Deputy Head of the International Legal Cooperation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office.
Ukrainska Pravda also managed to film NABU employees climbing over the fence into the Prosecutor General's Office building using ladders.
As Ukrainska Pravda reported in 2022, then prosecutor general Iryna Venediktova appointed her husband's former colleague to a senior position without a competitive selection process.
Venediktova then created a new department responsible for both economic crimes and the state's cybersecurity. Kropyva was appointed to head the new department without a competition. He had previously worked in the cyber police, serving as head of its Kyiv department and first deputy head.
Before taking up his current position at the Prosecutor General's Office, Kropyva served as deputy head of Odesa Oblast State Administration as part of Oleh Kiper's team.
