Ukrainian National Guard posts video of rare Russian electronic warfare system being destroyed

Lasar's Group, a special-purpose unit of the Ukrainian National Guard, has released footage showing the destruction of a rare Russian electronic warfare system, the Zhytel, deep behind Russian lines.

Quote: "In mid-summer, we hunted down a rare beast – the R-330Zh Zhytel automated jamming system. It was primarily used to jam reconnaissance drones and prevent Ukraine's defence forces from monitoring the area around Sievierodonetsk.

Lasar's Group carried out the entire operation to destroy the electronic warfare system on its own. Intelligence analysts, working together with the unit's aerial reconnaissance crews, pinpointed the exact location of the R-330Zh Zhytel. We then quickly planned an operation using Lasar bombers manufactured by our own team.

The Lasar strike crews launched their aircraft, flew 55 km deep into enemy territory and destroyed the target. The Zhytel will no longer be able to interfere with Ukrainian drones."
