The Saigak-1 is adapted for use on various types of terrain and in all seasons. It can also be used to deal with the aftermath of natural disasters, industrial accidents and catastrophes, Ukrainian Armor representatives told Ukrainska Pravda.

The vehicle has an armoured hull providing PZSA-3 ballistic protection, equivalent to Level 1 under NATO's STANAG 4569 standard, and capable of withstanding hits from standard 5.45×39mm and 7.62×39mm rounds. It also has Level 1 mine protection under STANAG 4569, protecting against anti-personnel mines and shrapnel.

The Saigak-1 is built on a four-wheel-drive chassis and is powered by a 240-horsepower diesel engine. The vehicle has a top speed of up to 140 km/h, while its 80-litre fuel tank gives it a range of up to 600 km.

The vehicle can carry two crew members and three soldiers. For enhanced safety, it is equipped with front and rear cameras, an automatic fire suppression system and RunFlat tyres. Air conditioning and heating provide comfortable conditions for the crew and passengers.

The second new vehicle, the Varta 3, has an armoured hull providing PZSA-6 ballistic protection, broadly comparable to Level 3 under NATO's STANAG 4569 standard, against 7.62×54mm armour-piercing rounds. It has Level 3a/3b mine protection under STANAG 4569 and can withstand an explosion equivalent to 8 kg of TNT under a wheel or the vehicle's floor.

The Varta 3 is built on a 4×4 all-wheel-drive chassis and is powered by a 326-horsepower diesel engine paired with an automatic transmission. It has a top speed of up to 100 km/h and a gross weight of up to 14,800 kg. The vehicle can accommodate two crew members and eight passengers.

For enhanced safety and comfort, the Varta 3 has special blast-resistant seats, communications and navigation systems, video surveillance, air conditioning, heating and air purification systems. Its wheels are equipped with a RunFlat system that allows the vehicle to continue moving if a tyre is damaged. An automatic fire suppression system protects the passenger compartment and engine.

For combat missions, the Varta 3 can be fitted with a rotating machine-gun mount or a remotely controlled weapon station.
