Russia strikes warehouses in Kyiv: death toll from attacks since start of day rises to five

Two people have been killed as a result of a Russian strike on warehouses in Kyiv in a daytime attack on 8 September, bringing the death toll from Russian attacks on the capital since the beginning of the day to five.

Details: Kyiv City Military Administration clarified to Ukrainska Pravda that Klitschko was referring to the daytime attack.

Klitschko said the death toll from the Russian strikes on the capital on 8 September has risen to five.

At 17:42, Klitschko reported a "second strike on another warehouse building" in the Holosiivskyi district.

"The fire is spreading to a nearby three-storey building. First responders are working at the scene," Klitschko said.

The State Emergency Service reported that firefighters are extinguishing new seats of fire in non-residential buildings at three locations in the Holosiivskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts.

"Information is being gathered on casualties," the service said.
