Ukraine hits UAV ground control stations and other military targets in Russia and temporarily occupied territories

On 9 September and on the night of 9-10 September, Ukraine's defence forces struck a number of Russian military targets in Russia and in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories, including UAV ground control stations and unit command posts, radar stations and an ammunition depot.

Details: In Donetsk, Ukraine's defence forces attacked a site used to store, prepare and launch Geran/Gerbera drones.

They also struck ground control stations belonging to Russian UAV units in temporarily occupied Osypenko and Tokmak in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and in Komyshuvate, Yasnohorivka and Ocheretyne in Donetsk Oblast.

In addition, strikes were carried out on Russian unit command posts in Luhanske and Zaitseve in Donetsk Oblast. An ammunition depot was hit near Dovzhansk in Luhansk Oblast.

Ukraine's defence forces also hit three radar stations in Russia's Bryansk Oblast: in Pavliny, Kartushino and Antonivka.

A ground signal repeater used to control Geran/Gerbera drones was also hit in the Russian town of Trubchevsk.

Background: On the night of 9-10 September, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces (SOF) struck facilities at the Makhachkala Commercial Sea Port on the Caspian Sea coast in Russia.
