Russia hits Sumy residential area with guided bombs: 11 injured, including three children
Russian forces struck a residential area on the outskirts of Sumy with two guided aerial bombs on 10 September, injuring eight people, including three children.

Details: Hryhorov reported that eight people were injured, including two children – girls aged 8 and 17. The children and four adults are receiving treatment in hospital.
Hryhorov also mentioned a repeat Russian strike on a shopping and entertainment centre. "A woman was injured as a result of the attack; she received medical assistance at the scene," he said.
The head of the oblast military administration later specified that three children are now known to have been injured – a 14-year-old boy has also sought hospital treatment.
"The total number of people injured as a result of the guided aerial bomb strikes on Sumy has risen to 11," he wrote.
Background:
- The Russian military struck a car park near the Manufaktura shopping centre in Sumy on the evening of 9 September. Two people were killed – a 21-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman – and 20 were injured.
- The Manufaktura shopping and entertainment centre in Sumy sustained significant damage as a result of a drone attack and suspended operations.
- On 10 September, a Russian drone struck the shopping centre in Sumy again – the same facility where people had been killed and injured the previous day.
