Finland has decided to provide Ukraine with its 34th military aid package, worth €290 million.

Details: Finland's President Alexander Stubb said that Ukraine was preparing for the coming winter and needed all the support it could get. He added that Finland had decided on its 34th defence aid package for Ukraine, worth €290 million, which contained materiel that Ukraine had urgently requested.

The Finnish president added that Finland supports Ukraine, which is now in its fifth year of defending itself, because it is morally right to do so.

Stubb said that this was about the security of the whole of Europe, and therefore also of Finland.
