Ukrainian forces strike bomber in Crimea and Russian UAV command posts in Donetsk Oblast

Ukraine's defence forces struck a Russian Su-24 bomber in Saky in temporarily occupied Crimea on 15 September and on the night of 15-16 September, as well as a number of other important Russian military targets.

Details: The military reported that a Su-24 aircraft had been hit at its base airfield in Saky in temporarily occupied Crimea. The extent of the damage is being assessed.

A site used by Russian forces to store, prepare and launch attack UAVs was also struck near the city of Donetsk.

Russian UAV command posts were hit in Staromlynivka and Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast and Pokrovske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

In addition, a Russian ammunition depot was struck in Dovzhansk, Luhansk Oblast. Fuel and lubricant storage facilities used by Russian forces were hit in Rovenky, Luhansk Oblast, and Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Grenader reconnaissance equipment posts were also struck in Suvorove and Rysove in temporarily occupied Crimea.
