Russian forces operating in small and very small infantry groups on Slobozhanshchyna fronts – Ukrainian military official

Russian forces in Slobozhanshchyna are constantly trying to find gaps in Ukrainian defences and gain a foothold using small and very small groups.

Quote: "On the South Slobozhanshchyna front in particular, as well as on the North Slobozhanshchyna front, small and, more recently, very small Russian infantry groups are constantly trying to find gaps in Ukrainian lines and gain a foothold in areas that are not under the direct control of Ukrainian troops, particularly in the gaps between Ukrainian positions."

Details: Trehubov said the Russians are gradually reducing the size of such groups to make them less noticeable. He also said that military equipment is not being used on a large scale on these fronts, while the number of combat engagements on the main fronts has decreased somewhat compared with the previous period.

"There are certain signs that what the Russians are experiencing now is not a pause, but rather a period of some resource depletion on our main fronts," the spokesperson said.

Trehubov specified that he was referring in particular to the Kupiansk and South Slobozhanshchyna fronts.
